Counting Game
One channel where the community counts up together, one number per message. Break the chain and it resets.
How It Works
Post the next integer in sequence at the start of your message (extra text after it is fine: "42 nice!" counts as 42). Non-numeric chatter in the channel is ignored with no penalty. By default, the same member can't count twice in a row. Someone else has to count before you can go again.
A correct count gets a โ reaction; a wrong number (or counting twice in a row when that's disabled) gets a โ.
On a Mistake
By default (Reset on Fail on), the count drops back to 0, everyone's current streak resets, and a "๐ฅ Chain Broken" embed announces who broke it, the count reached, and the all-time record. Two optional add-ons
| Setting | Default | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Lose currency on break | Off | Costs the offender currency equal to the number they were supposed to type (needs Economy enabled) |
| Post the rules on restart | Off | Re-shows the channel rules in the same embed whenever the chain resets |
If Reset on Fail is turned off instead, a wrong count is simply rejected without resetting the chain, and can optionally be deleted outright (Delete Wrong Numbers).
Rewards & Stats
An optional Reward per Count pays currency for every correct number (only if Economy is enabled). Per-member stats (correct counts and best streak) are tracked and shown on /userinfo.
The dashboard shows three live tiles: Current count, all-time Best Streak (the highest count ever reached), and Total Counts, plus a manual Reset Count button.
This is strictly sequential-integer counting. There's no math-expression mode.
