Social Alerts
Announces YouTube uploads and livestreams, and Twitch streams, in whichever channel you choose, with a live message that keeps itself up to date while the stream runs.
How It Works
Add an alert for a YouTube channel or a Twitch account and Aegis polls it in the background: Twitch every two minutes, YouTube every three, with live streams refreshed every five. When something new appears it posts an embed in the channel you picked.
A YouTube upload is announced once. A livestream on either platform posts a message that Aegis then keeps editing while the stream is on, so viewer counts and the title stay current rather than the channel filling with follow-ups. Editing never re-pings.
Each Alert Has Its Own Everything
The channel, the ping and the message belong to the individual alert, not to the platform and not to the server. Two YouTube channels can announce in two different places with two different roles pinged, and Twitch can go somewhere else again.
You can have 30 alerts per platform, so 60 in total, each with its own destination.
The Custom Message
Leave it blank and Aegis writes the announcement itself. Fill it in and yours replaces that text. The embed underneath is unchanged either way. Four placeholders are filled in when it posts

{mention} also decides where the ping goes. Without it, the ping is added to the front of the message. With it, the ping sits wherever you put it and is not added to the front as well, so "hey {mention}, {name} is live!" pings once, in the middle of the sentence, which is the reason to write it there.
Pings
Any role, @everyone, @here, or nothing at all. Whichever you choose applies to that one alert. A channel that goes live often is worth pointing at a role people opt into rather than at everyone.
When the Announce Channel Is Deleted
An alert whose announce channel no longer exists is removed rather than left retrying forever with nowhere to post. Aegis asks Discord three separate times whether the channel is really gone before it does that, and one answer saying the channel is still there starts the count over.
The removal is reported through Problem Reports, naming the account and the channel it was posting to. It arrives in the channel you picked there, or in a DM to the server owner when that backup is on. If Problem Reports is off, or has neither set, the alert is still removed but nothing is sent. Add the alert again whenever you like, pointing at a channel that still exists.
Losing access to a channel is not the same as the channel being deleted. If the channel is still there and Aegis has been shut out of it by permissions, nothing is removed; give the permission back and the alert carries on.
Twitch Credentials
Twitch alerts need API credentials on the bot itself, which the operator sets. If they are missing, the Twitch half of the page says so rather than silently never firing. YouTube needs nothing.
