Roles
Two self-service systems for letting members pick their own roles: a button/dropdown Role Picker for any roles you choose, and a dedicated Color Roles catalog with a generated swatch image.
Role Picker
Build categories of roles on the dashboard, then post one or more panels — always rendered as buttons (up to 25 roles per message). Each posted panel independently chooses a mode that controls how selection behaves:

| Normal (default) | Toggle just that role, independent of the others |
| Unique | Selecting a role in this picker removes any other role from the same picker you already hold — effectively single-select |
| Drop | One-way grant only; clicking again if you already have it does nothing |
| Reversed | The button only removes a role, never adds one |
| Binding | Once granted, can't be removed via the picker at all |
Each panel can also whitelist or blacklist specific roles from being allowed to use it.
Color Roles
A free-standing catalog (not tied to the Auctions economy system) — add a name + hex color and Aegis creates the actual Discord role for you. Posting a picker renders a generated image of colored swatches with names, sorted by hue, alongside either buttons or a dropdown. Behavior is always single-select: picking a new color removes whichever color role you already had.
Color roles can be hidden from other role-picker dropdowns elsewhere on the dashboard so they don't clutter unrelated lists, and their creation/removal is logged as one combined entry rather than spamming the normal Role Created/Deleted log.
