Dashboard
Who can access the dashboard, how Mod/Admin tiers work, and the general command settings that don't belong to any one feature.
Who Can Access It
Logging in at aegisdashboard.xyz only shows servers where you're one of:
- The server owner
- A Discord Administrator or Manage Server holder
- A holder of one of the server's Aegis Admin Roles โ but only if Dashboard Access is separately turned on for the server (it's off by default; Mod-tier roles never get dashboard access, only Admin-tier)
Mod / Admin Tiers
Two role lists โ Mod Roles and Admin Roles โ set on the dashboard's Roles page. These control Aegis's own commands only, not Discord's permission system:
| Tier | Grants |
|---|---|
| Admin | ban, unban, purge, /server-setup + every Mod-tier command |
| Mod | kick, mute, timeout, warn/unwarn/note/strikes, slowmode, starboard actions, giveaway actions, ticket staff actions (list/add/rename/priority/note/forceclose) |
| General | everyone, by default โ all public commands |
A Command Permissions panel lets you drag any of those individual commands between "Mod & Admin" and "Admin Only" per server โ e.g. if you want /kick to require Admin tier on your server specifically. Changes apply instantly; the command still needs to be enabled on the Commands page to actually appear in Discord.
Reply Visibility
A specific subset of commands can be flipped between Public (visible to the whole channel) and Private (only the user sees it) per server: userinfo (now /profile view), balance, daily, work, weekly, monthly, pay, deposit, withdraw, baltop, shop, inventory. Everything else has a fixed visibility โ games are always public; /remind, /vv, /auction, /myrole are always private.
Command Settings
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Individual Slash Commands | On | Master toggle for built-in commands like /kick, /rank, /balance registering as slash commands at all |
| Custom Command Prefix | Off | Lets members trigger your Custom Commands with a text prefix (default example "a") instead of a slash command โ this never applies to built-in commands, only ones you create yourself |
