Welcome & Leave
Four independent messages: join, leave, a welcome DM, and a boost announcement. Each with its own channel, toggle, and pool of random message variants.
Overview
Four events, each fully independent, so any combination can be on or off at once

Simple & Advanced
The page opens in Simple, which holds what a server needs to greet people: switch Welcome and Leave on, say which channel each posts in, and choose whether the new member is pinged. Both post as an image card, drawn on the Aegis artwork. A server that already has one of the settings Simple hides switched on opens in Advanced instead. The switch between the two views sits in the Welcome card's header.
Advanced adds the DM on Join and Booster cards, the mode selector and accent color, the message boxes and embed builder, the card artwork, and the content below the card.
Switching to Simple changes settings it will then hide, so it lists them first: DM on Join and Booster are switched off, and Welcome and Leave are put into Image Card mode. Nothing is written until you press Save, and Reset on the save bar puts the settings and the view back. Message text you already wrote is hidden, not cleared.
Message Placeholders
Available in all four message types (channel, leave, DM, boost) unless noted: {user} (mention), {username} (no ping), {server}. {membercount} is available for the join/leave channel messages only. Embed titles and footers are the one exception: Discord shows no mention inside either, so use {username} there. A {user} left in a title or footer prints the member's name instead of a mention.
Per-Event Settings
Every event gets its own enable toggle and a choice of three modes: Embed, Plain Text, or Image Card. Join, Leave and Boost each name their own channel; the DM goes to the member. The dashboard only shows the options that apply to the mode you pick, so the card stays clean: Plain Text is just the message box, Embed reveals the embed builder, Image Card reveals the card options. Each event also has a message pool of up to 10 message variants, one picked at random each time (falls back to a single legacy message field if the pool is empty).
Each event also has an Accent Color, sitting beside the mode selector because it applies whichever mode you pick: in Embed mode it is the embed's color, and in Image Card mode it is the avatar ring, the label and the subtitle on the card. Boost defaults to boost pink, the other three to Aegis gold.
Join and Boost each have their own independent ping toggle. When it is on, Aegis prepends a real @mention to the message (works even in embed mode, since an embed itself can't carry a ping). Leave has no ping toggle, since the member it would mention has already gone, and the DM has none either, since it already goes straight to the member.
Embed Mode
Embed mode is a small builder: title, description (the message pool text) and footer, colored by the event's Accent Color above it. On the join/leave/boost channel messages the joining member's avatar is added as a thumbnail (the DM can't show a thumbnail the same way, so it's left off there).
Image Card Mode
Instead of a text message, Aegis generates an image card with the member's avatar and label laid over a background, the same way a level card works. It is drawn on Aegis artwork that carries its own border, with the avatar on the left and the label, name and subtitle centered in the space it leaves.
Backgrounds support animated GIFs and share the same upload pipeline as level cards: upload a file, paste almost any direct image or GIF link, or send one from Discord's GIF picker. A card nobody has customized is the artwork and the name, with nothing laid over it, and a background you do set fills the artwork's opening rather than covering its border. Welcome, leave and boost cards are the same size as level cards, so a single background image fits every card Aegis renders.
The card's subtitle follows the event: a welcome and the welcome DM show Member #N alongside the server name, since an arrival is exactly when that number means something. Farewell and boost cards just show the server name. A leaver's number is meaningless once they've gone, and a booster's place in the join order has nothing to do with boosting.
All four cards draw their own preview: change the background or the accent color and the card redraws itself a moment later, animated if the background is a GIF. The preview is the whole message exactly as it'll post, with the ping and card image first, then the caption and any content below it.
Caption & ordering. Discord always renders an attached image after a message's text, so to land the caption below the card, Aegis sends the card (with the ping, if enabled) as one message and the caption as a second message right underneath it. The caption is optional. Leave it blank for a bare card.
Content Below Card
Image Card mode can attach one extra block of content beneath the card, picked from a single dropdown (the options are mutually exclusive, not stacked)

Default Colors
Join/Leave default to gold (#d4a017); Boost defaults to Discord's boost pink (#f47fff). These apply to embed mode and Image Card backgrounds.
